One of the most difficult races on the entire R.A.C.E. calendar! This event will start at the bottom of Humboldt Road here in Chico - and ride up Humboldt Road....continue up Hwy. 32 to Forest Ranch......and up and up and up......then, turn at Lomo on to Humboldt Road to Butte Meadows......and then up and up and up to Jonesville! This has been one of the most popular races on our calendar, and will prove to be an epic event again this year!
We will all start together at 9:00am for this one, and I will time you until the finish. I will be in the R.A.C.E.beast for SAG services for the first hour and a half or so. Take your time on this climb - pace yourself! For a race like this one, it's about the finish!
The finish line will be at the Jonesville snowmobile parking area in Jonesville, CA. I will have water and food at the finish.
35.5 miles and about 6,000 feet of total climbing!
