2 Times UP Honey Run Road

Registration will open at 8:15AM at the corner of Potter Road/Steve Harrison Memorial Bicycle Path & The Skyway here in Chico - just look for me and the R.A.C.E.mobile at the start and see starting location on map link below. Category "A" will go off at 9:00AM, with Category "B" starting off at 9:02AM. Women's & Masters 50+ Category will start off with Category "B", but will be scored separately.
This course is 29 miles in length and includes about 3,000+ feet of total climbing. The course starts in Chico at the Bike Path.......goes through Butte Creek Canyon, UP Honey Run Road.....down The Skyway......then through Butte Creek Canyon again......and finally, UP Honey Run Road one last time to finish in Paradise! The Finish is the same location as the Honey Run Road Uphill Time Trial finish - just before The Skyway, next to The Muffler Shop up there. For a map of the course, please visit the following link:
KOM & QOM Points WILL be awarded the 1st time up Honey Run for each Category racing - Category "A", Category "B", Women's Category & Masters 50+ Category.
This Race will be postponed IF it is TOO rainy, but not if it's sprinkling.
Helmets are MANDATORY!
(50-Point Event in the 2012 Butte Road R.A.C.E. Series PLUS KOM & QOM Points!)
