FINAL STAGE IN THE 2012 LABOR DAY OMNIUM BICYCLE RACE!!!
This is a flat Road Race of approximately 33 miles in length. Registration will open at 8:30am near Dayton 4-corners - but just south of the intersection, on Aguas Frias Road (the Start/Finish Line is where we have the Start Line for the Aguas Frias 10-Mile Time Trials). Category "A" and "B" will each do 1 lap, for a total of 33 miles and approximately 128 feet of elevation gain. Category "A" will start at 9:00am, and Category "B" will start at 9:02am. As usual, most USA Cycling rules apply to these races - you know, WEAR YOUR HELMET, don't ride like a nutcase, and all that good stuff. A mention about Tri Bars - You can have Tri Bars on your bicycle - BUT, you must NOT use them if you are in a pack or paceline! Normally, in a USA Cycling race, you would not be allowed to have them on your bicycle - but I know many of us like them on our bicycles and use them for training. This isn't the World Championships - we do these Events for fun, fitness and practice - but please do NOT use your Tri Bars in a pack/paceline situation.
HELD RAIN OR SHINE!
HELMETS ARE MANDATORY!
